Roberts is currently working on the seventh novel in the Ceridwen series. The main character lives in early 16th Century Wales, and she is a story-teller and is trying to preserve some of the old Celtic and Welsh stories.
From the first novel, Merlin from Arthurian legend has crept in, and had varying degrees of influence on her life. Now once again she is plagued it seems with the interruptions of Prince Llandeu, last surviving son of King Arthur.
Whilst dealing with the propechy about Prince Llandeu, Ceridwen finds an old, but future nemesis returns to make life difficult and dangerous. In fact it takes her to places she never dreamed she would see. The real question however might be, does Prince Llandeu become the true King of Camelot, and does he revive the Round Table?
He has also laid out a new novel set in the near future and set on Mars. This is in the early stages with one chapter complete and the background to the storyline being developed.
